From December 13th, 2021, BIDV will stop re-issuing BIDV SmartBanking passwords online on website version and unknown devices(*) in order to enhance the safe ty of customers’accounts, avoiding the risks of being hacked, scams, frauds, appropriation of property,..

Dear Customer,

From December 13th, 2021, BIDV will stop re-issuing BIDV SmartBanking passwords online on website version and unknown devices(*).

In this case, please contact the Customer Care Center at 1900 9247 or the nearest BIDV branch for assistance.

(*) Unknown device meaning a device that is different from the device/phone that has successfully logged in most recently.

Cusrtomer is using SmartBanking on phone A and forgot the password, customer wants to re-login the app on phone A

Customer choose “Forget password” feature on SmartBanking and follow the instructions.

Customer is using SmartBanking on BIDV website and forgot the password, customers want to re-issue the password to log back into the website (on the same device or another)

Customer ontact the Customer Services Center at 1900 9247 or the nearest BIDV brandch for password reset assistance

Customer using BIDV SmartBanking on phone A and wants to use it on phone B but forgot the password

Customer is using SmartBanking on BIDV website àn want to use the mobile application but forgot the password

Customer forgot the password at the first try or the the password has expired

Customer reach out fot the nearest BIDV branch for assistance

Customer enters the password wrong up to 5 times and the service is locked

Simultaneously, BIDV reccomends that customers should be vigilant against increasingly sophisticated scams of various type of criminals, especially high-tech ones. Please refer to some forms of frauds and scams in the banking here to avoid the risk of unwanted property loss.
