- Group Account is a payment account integrated with additional features to support group fund management, allowing transparency and visibility of the account balance and transaction history among group members.
- Customer segments:
- Fund Owner: Vietnamese individual customers in accordance with BIDV regulations.
- Members: Vietnamese or foreign individual customers in accordance with BIDV regulations.
- Currency: VND
- Easy income–expense management: All transaction information is displayed directly on each member’s SmartBanking application.
- Financial transparency: All members can monitor account balance movements, while only the Fund Owner has the right to make payments from the account.
- Clear role assignment within the group: Enhances safety and trust in group financial management.
- With just simple steps on BIDV SmartBanking or by registering directly at any BIDV branch/transaction office nationwide, you can open a Group Account.
- 1. Who can join a Group Account?
- To join a Group Account, members only need to have a payment account and be registered for BIDV SmartBanking. If the person you want to invite does not yet have an account, you can send them the Group Account number so they can submit a request to join.
- 2. Roles and activities of group members?
- As a Member of the group, you can: View detailed income and expense transactions on the Group Account Contribute funds directly View the list of group members Leave the group
- As a Fund Owner (who is also a Member but holds additional rights), you can: Name the group fund Make spending transactions Add or remove members
- 3. How many Group Accounts can I open?
You can create as many Group Accounts as you need.
- 4. What is the maximum number of members in one group?
The maximum number of members in a group is subject to BIDV’s regulations from time to time. Currently, it is 40 members including the Fund Owner.
