BIDV cooperates with Western Union Money Transfer Company, a global leader in the cross-border money transfer industry to provide the remittance channel from Vietnam to global countries:

Step 1: Visit a nearest BIDV counter, make sure to bring your valid ID and present supporting documents.
Step 2: Fill in “Western Union Sending Form” and choose the suitable payment method (Deposit cash/debit sender's account at BIDV/conduct foreign exchange transactions with BIDV).
Step 3: Receive payment receipt and notify the beneficiary 10-digit Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) and transfer amount. Note: The MTCN should be kept strictly confidential and informed to the receiver only.

- Citizen ID/Passport for Vietnamese.

- Temporary residence card/permanent residence card for foreigners.

Deposit cash/debit sender's account at BIDV/conduct foreign exchange transactions with BIDV.

Step 1: Visit a nearest BIDV counter, make sure to bring your valid ID and present supporting documents.
Step 2: Fill in BIDV's Payment order, including:

- Beneficiary bank information (Name, SWIFT CODE).

- Beneficiary information (Name, account number, address in foreign country...).

- Select payment method: Cash/BIDV account.

- Citizen ID/Passport for Vietnamese.
- Temporary residence card/permanent residence card for foreigners.

Step 1: Customers log into BIDV SmartBanking app (for mobile phones) or InternetBanking (for web browsers), click on the "Overseas Remittance" service, and select "Tuition payment in Korea"
Step 2: Input the required information, including:

- Select the educational institution.

- Input the student’s information (Full name, student ID, account number, passport number, passport expiry date,...)

- Double-check the information and select the additional fees besides tuition fee (if any)

Step 3: Attach the required transfer document
Step 4: Receive a notification of successful transaction initiation and wait for the processing result from the bank.

Student's passport and visa (if the visa is not available, tick the option “Missing visa document” and choose the committed date for submission).
Tuition fee invoice.
Proof of family relationship (if the sender is not the student).
