General introduction: Escrow account management service is a service BIDV provides to domestic and/or foreign customers participating in economic transactions on the basis of blocking and managing deposits on Escrow accounts and BIDV only releases and transfers money when it meets the conditions agreed upon by the Customer Parties and shown in the Service Use Agreement.
Currency: VND or foreign currency. In case customers transact in foreign currency, they must comply with the State Bank's regulations on foreign exchange management.
Target customer
- Domestic and foreign financial customers who need to use Escrow financial management services to carry out business activities in accordance with the law.
- Financial customers perform transactions/activities related to:
- (i) Buying, selling/transfer of shares
- (ii) Buying and selling/transfer of real estate
- (iii) Participate in bidding activities
- (iv) Labor export services/job introduction and career guidance[1]
- (v) Participate in investment/construction projects
- (vi) Delivery/transportation/.. services that employ workers under the Collaborator/Short-term labor contract regime.
- (vii) Buying, selling, importing goods/services or other legal transactions and requiring a deposit to ensure the implementation of the Contract.
Tariff:
- 0.5% of the deposit amount, minimum 200,000 VND (excluding VAT).
- Fee for confirmation of blockade/deposit/money transfer (if any) implemented according to BIDV's Service Fee Schedule for Corporate Customers from time to time.
- Other fees need to be specifically specified in the Escrow Agreement.
