On 11 February 2025, in Hanoi, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) and Thanh Thanh Cong – Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company (TTC AgriS) signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement for the 2025–2030 period, marking a significant step forward in their partnership to promote green and sustainability projects.

Under the agreement terms, BIDV and TTC AgriS will will strengthen their collaboration by leveraging each party’s strengths to optimize the entire agricultural value chain and establish a robust foundation for sustainable financial connectivity with the  sector. BIDV will provide a full suite of modern banking products and services, including financing for TTC AgriS projects, particularly those contributing to carbon neutrality, emission reductions, and environmental protection objectives. The partnership aligns closely with the shared sustainability strategies of both organizations.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Le Ngoc Lam, Chief Executive Officer of BIDV, emphasized:

This event marks a significant milestone in the long-standing partnership between BIDV and TTC AgriS, ushering in a new phase of development aligned with the strategic directions of both parties. BIDV will provide comprehensive financial solutions tailored to TTC AgriS’s suppliers, customers, shareholders, and employees. We will prioritize green credit products that support Net Zero commitments and sustainable development projects; while integrating digital platforms to optimize capital flows and operational efficiency throughout the entire value chain.

In her remarks, Ms. Dang Huynh Uc My, Chairman of TTC AgriS, noted:

With more than 55 years of experience in the agricultural sector and the strong support of BIDV, TTC AgriS is positioning itself as a green financial bridge, connecting domestic and international capital sources with a circular agricultural economy. Today’s signing is not merely a cooperation agreement —it is a strategic commitment to driving a sustainable agricultural economy, securing national food security, and enhancing the value of Vietnam’s agricultural sector.

The long-standing partnership between BIDV and TTC AgriS has been carefully cultivated over many years. The new  2025-2030 Cooperation Agreement will provide a strategic framework for both parties to deepen collaboration, unlock mutual potential, expand business activities, and jointly pursue new milestones on the path to sustainability.

As part of the event, BIDV Gia Dinh Branch and Ben Tre Import Export Joint Stock Corporation (Betrimex - a member of TTC AgriS), signed a green credit agreement to finance the Betrimex Green Building project at No. 63 Cao Thang, Ward 3, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City. This project will be designed, constructed and operated in accordance with LEED Gold standards, reinforcing both parties’ commitments to environmental stewardship and sustainable development.
