On 20 December 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City, BIDV signed a credit agreement with Phuc Long Investment and Construction Co., Ltd. (Phuc Long) to finance the infrastructure construction and operation of the expanded Phuc Long Industrial Park.

The agreement was officially signed by Mr. Vo Minh Dung - BIDV Long An Branch Manager, and Ms. Ninh Thi Bich Thuy - Chairưoman of Phuc Long Investment and Construction Co., Ltd

With a total investment of over VND6,000 billion and covering more than 328 hectares, the expanded industrial park is located in Long Hiep Commune, Ben Luc District and Long Dinh, Phuoc Van Commune, Can Duoc District, in Long An Province. Once completed, the project is expected to become a multi-sector industrial zone, priotizing clean, eco- friendly technologies, contributing to local economic growth and promoting sustainable development.

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Tran Long, Deputy CEO of BIDV remarked:

The Phuc Long Industrial Park Expansion Project reflects a strong alignment with BIDV’s green credit strategy, focusing on sustainable infrastructure and environmentally responsible technologies. We believe that, with BIDV’s financial support, the project will not only be a standout development in Long An Province but also an appealing destination for both domestic and international investors." He added that the event marks a significant milestone in the long-term partnership between BIDV and Phuc Long, and expressed BIDV’s commitment to continuing to provide optimal financial solutions for the company’s future projects.
