On 24 January 2024, BIDV coordinated with Department of Communication - State Bank of Vietnam to successfully organize the financial education program at Le Quy Don Secondary School and Tuyen Quang Provincial Ethnic Boarding High School. The program attracted the active participation of more than 1,500 students.

Financial education to people is a meaningful and necessary activity. In 2020, the Prime Minister promulgated Decision No. 149/QD-TTg dated 22 January 2020 approving the National Comprehensive Financial Strategy until 2025, vision to 2030. One of the important goals of this Decision is to increase financial proficiency among people in order to change their awareness, behavior and form good financial habits for the community.

With the mission of bringing the greatest benefits to the community, recently, BIDV has cooperated with the State Bank of Vietnam to carry out many financial education programs, especially those targeting students nationwide.

Through sharing from SBV experts and the “Financial Knowledge” contest, the program has brought useful and interesting knowledge about Vietnamese currency, payment methods, security alerts in cashless payments to students, helping them get early access to financial knowledge.

Awarding gifts to winning teams at the “Financial Knowledge” Contest

In the coming time, BIDV will continue to cooperate with the State Bank of Vietnam to conduct financial education programs, widely spreading and well implementing the National Comprehensive Financial Strategy. This helps to share smart financial knowledge and skills, contributing to protecting financial service consumers in Vietnam.  

Under the program, BIDV also offered 200 gifts to students at Le Quy Don Secondary School and Tuyen Quang Provincial Ethnic Boarding High School.
