The purpose of this event is to mobilize the bank’s officers, customers, and the community to join hands to contribute to the funds for the poor on the occasion of Vietnamese New Year (Tet) by participating in the race. All athletes' performance will be recognized and contributed by BIDV from VND1,000 to VND3000 per km, then exchanging to Tet gifts for the poor and the flood-hit people in the Central region.

Mr. Tran Xuan Hoang, Member of BOD, President of Trade Union, Head organizer of the event, delivered a speech at the ceremony.

The race will be held online via BIDVRUN app or website http://bidvrun.com using Strava platform. BIDVRUN is an application developed by BIDV with the aim of connecting people with the passion for running, spreading the helping attitude in the community, keeping it an annual event, encouraging sports participation, and improving public health in general and BIDV employees’ health in particular.

BIDV employees, customers and the community can all register to participate individually or in groups/teams, and are free to perform outdoor walking/running activities anytime and anywhere. The organizers expect a total contribution of VND13 billion from this race.
