The two units will cooperate to implement an action program "Youth pioneering digital transformation" to organize large campaigns, training activities, and social security towards the community.

With the desire to spread the pioneering spirit of youth in digital transformation according to the National Digital Transformation Program, on 22 August 2023, BIDV and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) Central Committee signed a cooperation agreement on implementing the program "Youth pioneering digital transformation". The signing ceremony was held simultaneously in many provinces and cities between the Head Office/Branches of BIDV and the HCYU Central Committee/Provincial Youth Union across the country.

Addressing the signing ceremony, Mr. Bui Quang Huy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the HCYU Central Committee, spoke highly of the effectiveness of the cooperation with BIDV over the past time. He said that the working theme of the HCYU Central Committee in 2023 was digital transformation among youth union members, which is also a theme in the Government's strategic policy on national digital transformation.

Mr. Phan Duc Tu, Secretary of BIDV Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors, said:

BIDV and the HCYU Central Committee have built and fostered a good relationship over the years. BIDV's Youth Union is one of the unions that have always pioneered in implementing movements and activities initiated and launched by the HCYU Central Committee. To deliver BIDV's vision to 2030 of “becoming a leading financial institution in Southeast Asia, having the best digital platform in Vietnam", BIDV Youth Union is the force that plays an important role and creates breakthroughs in terms of level of digital maturity, pioneering in applying technology, ensuring the provision of modern and high-quality banking products and services, and effectively coordinating with the HCYU Central Committee in areas related to the national digital transformation goals.

The two units expected that the implementation of the cooperation agreement will contribute to improve the skills of youth union members, meeting the actual conditions in each locality in particular, thereby promoting the national digital transformation in general towards the target of 2 million more people using digital banking services by the end of 2025.
