In response to the complicated situation caused by Covid-19 pandemic in many areas, BIDV has quickly sent donation to provinces naming Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Vinh Phuc and k Hospital to fight against Covid-19 pandemic totaling VND5 billion.

BIDV presented VND1 billion to Bac Giang Province for Covid-19 combat

Accordingly, BIDV has presented Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Vinh Phuc province, each VND1 billion, and VND2 billion to K Hospital. These donations will be used for health facilities purchases using in diagnosing and testing for Covid-19, supporting the work of medical staff and isolation areas. The sponsorship showed the bank’s responsibility to the community and contribution to the fight against Covid-19 in Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Vinh Phuc province and frontline medical facilities.

BIDV presented VND1 billion to Vinh Phuc Province for Covid-19 combat

In many other areas nationwide, BIDV branches has quickly called out for help from their employees to support the local authority and health system in the combat against COVID-19 pandemic.

Previously, when a wave of Covid-19 emerged during February 2021, BIDV donated VND7 billion to hospitals and provinces naming Hai Duong, Quang Ninh, Gia Lai, and Hung Yen. In total, BIDV’s contribution to the combat against Covid-19 in 2020 and 2021 is nearly VND45 billion.

As soon as the pandemic broke out, BIDV promptly implemented practical programs to support the pandemic combat. In addition to directly supporting medical facilities and localities, BIDV has provided preferential credit programs to support customers under the direction of the Government and the State Bank of Vietnam, including: Credit package for individual customers doing business in the fields affected by the Covid-19 pandemic; Cost reduction for online money transfer, etc.
