The legendary goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel – Manchester United ambassador will arrive in Vietnam for two days 24 and 25 April at the invitation of the Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV). Within framework of this visit, Peter Schmeichel will attend the cooperation agreement signing ceremony between BIDV and Manchester United Football Team in Hanoi (24 April), exchange with fans at the event of presenting copper card with BIDV- Manchester United trademark in Ho Chi Minh City (25 April).

Speaking before the visit to Vietnam, Peter Smeichel said: “I have the honour of attending the Event of BIDV and Manchester United for two days 24 – 25/4/2013 in Vietnam. I believe that this cooperation will bring about an extremely special gift to fans. We are very proud to become a partner of BIDV and I am waiting to come to Vietnam and meet fans.”

For BIDV’s side, Mr. Tran Xuan Hoang, Deputy General Director of BIDV told: ‘‘BIDV is very pleased for its contribution to the Vietnamese fans to connect with legend of Manchester United. We believe that the copper card with BIDV -Manchester United trademark will be an interesting gift to fans. The activities of goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel in Vietnam will be updated continuously on Facebook “BIDV-MU Connecting legend”. The fans of Red Devils will have opportunity to receive the ticket for attending the program in Ho Chi Minh City and draw lots for winning a lot of valuable gifts including the first prize of a visit to Manchester United, to see the direct football match in Old Trafford Stadium.

Also on the evening of 25 April, at the trademark copper card presenting Ceremony, BIDV will organize the Gift auction of Mancheseter United footballers including: 1 MU competition shirt with signature of 11 MU footballers, 1 ball with signature of 11 MU footballers and 1 pair of gloves with signature of the Former goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel and 1 pair of shoes with signature of footballer Rio Ferdinand. All auction amounts will be awarded to the Understanding Heart Foundation.
