Hanoi, September 18, 2015 - The Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam JSC (BIDV) and General Department of Logistics and Technology (GDLT) under the Ministry of Public Security signed cooperation agreement.

 

​Under the agreement, BIDV and GDLT will cooperate on key areas including modern banking products and services; project financing, communications, social security, soldiers housing.

To realize the agreement, at the signing ceremony, two parties signed specific contracts with the units under the GDLT, including: The payroll contract with H51 Administration Department; In-principle credit contract with VIJA Technology and Science Equipment Co., Ltd.

As a primarily state-owned bank, BIDV determines that the signing of comprehensive cooperation agreement is of great significance, meeting the requirements for national security, development and international integration. For non-business administrative customers, it can be said that BIDV is the pioneer in providing financial solutions to these units. This is evidenced by the comprehensive cooperation agreements signed between BIDV and the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Transport. For GDLT, BIDV branches provided banking services to some of its units such as Global Telecommunications Corporation, National Hospital of Traditional Medicine, Hospital 198, Ministry of Public Security Thang Long Co., Ltd., and prestigious contractors the GDLT.

Addressing the ceremony, Mr. Tran Bac Ha, Chairman of BIDV said, “BIDV determines the GDLT is a key partner, and the bank is committed to utilizing its resources and take advantage of network, technology, people and quality of banking services to best implement the cooperation activities between the two parties”.

The comprehensive cooperation agreement between the GDLT and BIDV is the recognition and delivery of commitments of both parties in exploiting the strengths of each party. The cooperation with the bank will help non-business administrative agencies to effectively and quickly reform administrative procedures, flexibly manage, increase financial autonomy, efficiently use of funding from state budget.
