- You can make a request for reconciliation in the Mailbox function which states the request to correct the transfer information or refund money transferred. You can also contact BIDV Hotline 19009247 or your nearest branch to request for reconciliation.
- Requests for reconciliation received before 3:00pm will be handled on the same day, after 3:00pm will be handled on the next working day if cannot be processed on the same day. The maximum time for processing is 3 working days.
- Your username is unique and cannot be changed. So please remember your username and keep it confidential.
- You can change your BIDV Online's password, specifically: The initial login password will be asked to change the first time you log in to the system. Later on, when you need to change your password, you can choose one in following options:

Your card will not be locked/withheld by ATM. Nonetheless, you will not be able to perform PIN-based transactions on that day.
The next day, if you enter correct PIN code at the first time, you can continue using the card as usual. However, if you enter the wrong PIN code again, you will not be able to perform PIN-based transactions on that day. You must wait until the next day to enter correct PIN code.
- If you forget your PIN code, you can go to BIDV's Branch or call BIDV's Hotline to ask for PIN re-issuance. PIN re-issuance fee follows current regulations of BIDV
- If you still remember your PIN code, you can call BIDV's Hotline for reactivation.
When doing transaction on POS by international debit card, you do not have to enter PIN.

The account linked to your international debit card is your VND current account. However, you can fully spend and withdraw cash in foreign currency at any POS with international card association's logo.
The validity of BIDV's international debit card is 5 years. When your card is about to expire, it will be automatically renewed. During the month of expiration, please contact the issuing branch to receive the renewed card and continue using the card.
The procedure of international debit card issuance is very simple with following documents:
a. Primary card:
- Application for card issuance and use and Terms and conditions of using card.
- Copy of identification documents (in case customer information have not been registered at BIDV)
b. Supplementary card:
- Application for card issuance and use and Terms and conditions of using card.
- Copy of ID documents of supplementary cardholder (in case of customers aged 15 years or older, or customers aged less than 15 years having ID documents)/Birth certificate (for the remaining cases).

1. "Minimum Payment Amount" means the minimum amount shown on the monthly statement that cardholders have to pay to the Bank.
2. "Payment Due Date" is the date on which cardholders have to pay at least the Minimum Payment Amount shown on the monthly statement. If payment due date is a holiday or weekend, it will be the next business day.
If you do not pay or do not fully pay the minimum payment amount on or before the due date, you will be charged a late payment penalty in accordance with BIDV's regulations.
Statement balance can be paid in one of the following methods:
- Over-the-counter payment: Payment can be made at BIDV's counters via cash deposit or payment order.
- Payment via BIDV Smart Banking
- Automatic debit: BIDV will automatically collect the statement balance according to your registration.
- Transfer from any other bank.
Notes: For external money transfer, payments made before 3:00pm daily will be recorded on the card system on the same day; payments made after 3:00pm daily will be recorded on the card system the next day.
Statement is a list of cardholder's card transactions, interest, charges incurred during the statement period and any adjustment entries (if any) made monthly by BIDV and sent to the cardholder.
You need to pay at least the Minimum Payment Amount on your statement on or before the payment due date.
- Free interest conditions: Customers are exempt from interest for the purchase of goods and services if the statement balance is fully paid on or before the payment due date.
- Free interest period: 45 days including 30 days within statement period and 15 days after statement date.
For example: You spend on the first day of the statement period and make payment on the statement payment due date (Payment due date is 15 days from the statement date). The total amount of free interest period is 30 days of the statement period + 15 days after the statement date.
When you use your card at POS overseas or POS that uses foreign currency, then you have to repay in Vietnam dong at the exchange rate prescribed by the Bank.
The foreign currency exchange rate in overseas spending is the exchange rate applied by Visa, Mastercard. For overseas transactions, this exchange rate will be plus foreign exchange fees.
For the exchange rate at the time of payment, please refer to your monthly transaction statement and convert the original transaction amount in foreign currency and the corresponding amount into VND.

- Please make account balance inquiry after a few minutes. If the transaction is not successful, but account balance is still deducted, please contact BIDV Customer Care Center or nearest branch for reconciliation. The response time to customer complaints is as follows:
- Transaction on BIDV's ATM: Response time is up to 05 working days from the date of receiving full information.
- Transaction on other bank's ATM: Response time is up to 07 working days from the date of receiving full information.

Changing PIN code is one of the important measures to ensure safety in card transactions. Therefore, BIDV recommends and expects customers to make frequent changes to PIN code to ensure safe and secured card use.

When your card is lost, please contact BIDV (Customer care center or any BIDV transaction office) to request for card locking immediately to minimize risks of losing money. |

If you enter your wrong PIN three times (regardless of time period), your card will be temporarily locked (card status is CPIN) and BIDV will not automatically re-activate your card. - In case you still remember your PIN: Please call BIDV's Customer Care Center and provide authentication information. BIDV's Customer Care Center will help reactive your card. - In case you remember PIN code but your PIN has been reactivated once by BIDV's Customer Care Center on the same day: Please bring your ID card to BIDV's branches for assistance. - In case of forgetting PIN code, please withdraw money directly at the counter with your ID card or issue new card for use. |
• PIN code of domestic debit card is printed inside an envelope. Customers need to change PIN at ATM of BIDV in the first transaction in order to carry out subsequent transactions at ATMs BIDV and other banks. • Due to security requirements, the PIN is provided once only and known by the cardholder only. After delivered to cardholder, PIN is no longer under the Bank's management. If customers forget PIN or lose the envelop containing PIN, please bring your ID card to the nearest branch to withdraw cash at the counter. To continue using the card, please visit any BIDV branch to request card re-issuance. |
Each customer can have up to 6 domestic debit cards in active status (regardless of primary or supplementary cards; customers can issue supplementary cards at different class with primary card). Notes: - Cards issued to 15-18 year old primary cardholders do not linked to overdraft account. - Supplementary cards are only issued to customers aged 15 and above. |
For Domestic Debit Card: - Hanoi/ HCMC: maximum 04 working days. - Other areas: maximum 06 working days. |
Please present your ID documents (Valid ID card/Vietnam military ID card/Citizen ID card/Passport). Card issuance application: 1. Agreement for issuance and use of debit card and value-added services (BIDV's form). 2. In the case of individual domestic debit card: a) Copy of valid ID documents of Primary cardholders, Supplementary cardholder(s), legal representative (if any). b) In case of foreigners, copy of visas/residence permits or other equivalent documents. Issuance fee shall follow BIDV's regulations. The minimum balance required on the account is 50,000 VND. Customers will receive a card/PIN receipt appointment confirmation. Please bring this confirmation and ID card to receive card/PIN. |
- Over BIDV's ATMs: cash withdrawal, internal fund transfer, PIN change, balance inquiry, summary statement printing, request for account statement printing, request for issuance of checkbook, request for money transfer into term savings account, bill payment. - On ATMs with Napas logo: cash withdrawal, bank transfer, balance inquiry, summary statement printing; or at least cash withdrawal, balance inquiry - On BIDV's POS: payment for goods and services, balance inquiry and cash withdrawal and advance (POS located at BIDV's counters) - On POS with Napas logo: payment for goods, services, balance inquiry; or at least payment of goods and services In addition, card can be used for payment on some websites that accept BIDV domestic debit cards. |
At present, BIDV's domestic debit card can be used to withdraw cash in Vietnam and Laos through ATMs of LaoVietBank (which connects with BIDV through Napas card organization). Customers will be notified of any changes in time. |
BIDV's domestic debit card does not have a validity period, so your card will not expire. Card will only be replaced in case of damaged/lost or PIN forgotten. Please maintain the balance in the card-linked account for fee deduction. |

Domestic debit cards are cards issued by card issuers in Vietnam for transactions within the balance on card-linked current account opened at card issuing banks. Transaction limits shall follow the regulations of card issuing banks and payment banks.
For external transfer: After the money transfer procedures are completed, within 5 minutes, the money will be transferred out of BIDV system. Further settlement and account entry depends on the beneficiary's bank. Basically, the recipient can receive money on the same day if the information provided is accurate.
Time for stopping receiving/processing money transfer is subject to regulations of each BIDV branch. At the moment, BIDV's end time for external transfer is 5.00pm daily (except Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays).
There is no time limit for internal transfer, yet it still depends on transaction time of each BIDV branch.

In case you do not have an account at BIDV, you can use your identification documents to receive transferred money (in priority order: valid ID card/passport, military ID card). Please provide following information: Full name, No. of ID document, date of issue, place of issue
