The Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) has just been honored as the only domestic bank in Vietnam to receive award “The best local trade finance house 2012” selected by Euromoney magazine.

Award “The best local trade finance house 2012” is held implemented by Euromoney magazine from organizing survey, selection at the enterprises using the trade finance service, product and announcing publicly the award result in many countries in the world, including some countries in Asia-Pacific region such as: China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam.

The period for organizing survey, evaluation and selection of trade finance activity of the banks is from early October 2010 until September 2011 according to the criteria: Knowledge level of product, consultancy quality of staff; Professional operation model, concentration on serving customers under international standard; Ability of administration, risk minimization, Competitive price but still ensure the good profit growth capacity; Wide network of transaction points, network of agency banks; Specific solutions, initiatives for customers; and other factors.
