BIDV has been awarded “House of the Year, Vietnam 2017” by Asia Risk Magazine in the field of risk management and derivatives for banks and financial institutions in Asia. BIDV is Vietnam’s only bank to receive the award this year. This is the 5th time BIDV has received this prestigious award.

​The award ceremony was held at Marina Bay Sands Convention Center, Singapore on 26 September 2017, attended by more than 300 delegates from leading financial institutions in the world.

The award was evaluated on the basis of the effectiveness of BIDV's financial derivatives development in general and especially the bank's contribution to the successful implementation of new outstanding services in Vietnam in 2017 including interest rate swap denominated in Vietnam dong and cotton swap in particular. This award recognizes the position of BIDV in meeting the best practices in the market and ability to provide complex risk management products to users.
