BIDV and InfoPlus signed Memorandum of Cooperation to develop banking products on the InfoCMS Platform

On May 23, 2023, in Hanoi, the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation to develop banking products on the digital platform InfoCMS between the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) - and InfoPlus Co., Ltd. took place.

The event was witnessed by Mr. Song Hyundo - Director of the Financial Services Commission of Korea, Mr. Yoon Sangki - Minister Counselor of the Korean Embassy in Vietnam, Mr. Kim Sejin - Head of the Fintech Enterprise Support Center of Korea, Mr. Hong Sun - Chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (Kocham), Mr. Kim Min Ho - CEO of InfoPlus, Mr. Le Ngoc Lam - CEO of BIDV, along with representatives of the Financial Services Commission of Korea, BIDV Executive Committee, InfoPlus Company, and leadership representatives of Korean companies in Vietnam.

InfoPlus Co., Ltd. is a company specializing in providing advanced technology ecosystems for enterprises and financial institutions. InfoCMS, developed by InfoPlus, is a platform that helps businesses manage two important functions simultaneously: managing all customer data information and managing the entire cash flow of the enterprise accurately and efficiently.

According to the contents of the Memorandum of Cooperation, BIDV and InfoPlus prioritize comprehensive integration of BIDV's services on the InfoCMS platform through API connection. Integration will provide businesses with experiences of modern banking services with many practical benefits. Specifically, customers can use banking services such as payments, collection, cash flow management directly on the enterprise's platform; Easily manage and monitor real-time cash flow; Conveniently query and manage historical data, thereby accelerating the digital transformation process of enterprises, helping them save time and manpower, supporting businesses in enhancing capacity and competitive advantage in the market.

According to Mr. Song HyunDo - Director of the Financial Services Commission of Korea, in the financial sector, cooperation between Vietnam and Korea has significantly expanded, and many areas will continue to develop in the future, especially financial digital transformation and Fintech development. "I hope the meeting between BIDV and InfoPlus today will be the starting point for development. The Korean government will also actively support both countries to further grow and develop through financial cooperation."

According to Mr. Le Ngoc Lam – CEO of BIDV, as a pioneering bank in promoting digital transformation, BIDV has successfully deployed many outstanding digital service products for enterprise customers such as BIDV Omni iBank digital bank, SMEasy digital platform supporting small and medium-sized enterprises. BIDV has also successfully integrated banking services on enterprise ERP platforms through API connection with BIDV iConnect service. In the trend of developing digital ecosystems through "embedded banking" services, BIDV hopes to expand cooperation with platform providers for enterprises such as enterprise accounting platforms, cash flow management platforms (CMS), and enterprise resource planning platforms (ERP) to maximize utilities and provide new experiences for customers.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Kim Min Ho - CEO of InfoPlus assessed that in Korea, cash transactions are no longer widely used, and most transactions are processed through the linkage between financial services and CMS.

"Our InfoCMS project this time will be the implementation applied from the Korean model and optimized for the Vietnamese market. In this way, we are confident that CMS services will become a business innovation model for Vietnam in the future."

The signing ceremony between BIDV and InfoPlus marks an important step in the development phase of both sides, the first time all monetary management services provided by the bank are on a third-party digital channel, laying the foundation for BIDV and InfoPlus to strongly deploy new digital financial solutions for Vietnamese, Korean businesses, and in the region.
