At 12.05pm on 15 March 2021, during the mid-day break at Phuc Tho Transaction Office – BIDV Son Tay Branch, an armed person with homemade mines suddenly appeared, threaten the bank tellers and robbed the bank’s money.

As soon as the incident occurred, the bank workers at Phuc Tho Transaction Office quickly coordinated with security officers from Thinh Phat Security Service Limited Company to stop the robber. The Phuc Tho District Police and Phuc Tho Town Police speedy appeared at the scene and arrest the robber. The Military Command of Phuc Tho District also sent a demining team to blockade the weapons and mines. No assets nor persons of Phuc Tho Transaction Office were harmed.

Appreciating the success of the police and securities, on the afternoon of 15 March 2021, Phuc Tho District Party Committee, Phuc Tho District People's Committee and BIDV Son Tay Branch awarded the Phuc Tho District Police, Phuc Tho Town Police, the demining team from The Military Command of Phuc Tho District and the staff of Thinh Phat Security Service Limited Company.

The management of BIDV Son Tay Branch checked up on the branch’s staffs and confidently announce the normal operation at the branch’s offices.
