BIDV’s Trade Booming Program 2023 provides Import-Export enterprises (IMEX enterprises) with outstanding benefits in exchange rates, transaction fee exemption/reduction and superior business support solutions, which help IMEX enterprises to facilitate international trade.

According to the assessment of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the positive import-export growth momentum from 2022, the transition of foreign investment to Vietnam, and the promotion of Free Trade Agreements bring positive effects for IMEX enterprises. To accompany corporates to take full advantage of such market opportunities, BIDV offers IMEX enterprises the preferential program "Trade Booming 2023" with several attractive incentives.

Great preferential exchange rate for FX transactions

Clients who are IMEX enterprises making IMEX payment transactions at BIDV, including overseas remittance and trade finance for IMEX, are qualified to enjoy the benefits provided only in the “Trade Booming” program. The program is available until December 31, 2023.

In details, Clients will enjoy the unprecedented preferential exchange rates, i.e. redeeming up to 100 points for transactions in EUR, 30 points for transactions in USD, as well as preferential rates for other foreign currencies. Clients are entitled to: Waiver of all inward-overseas remittance fees; Free use of commodity derivatives online trading program; 10% discount on the IMEX goods insurance premium compared to the usual fee schedule of BIDV Insurance Corporation (BIC).

Specially, Client with the highest total amount of overseas remittance and trade finance accrued in the period will enjoy using these two services for free in the following 12 months.

Preferential benefits on SMEasy account and BIDV iBank digital banking service fee

For a better support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), BIDV provides free accounts to join the SMEasy digital platform to the first 500 clients participating in the Program. This is a digital platform launched by BIDV to provide financial and non-financial service solutions for SME clients under the model of "One Stop Shop" - One destination, multiple services. Additionally, Clients will be offered free ERP Misa/KIU software, free training courses on international payments, marketing privileges on BIDV's website and be supported by BIDV to make domestic and foreign business matching.

 Furthermore, new Clients or Clients reactivating their accounts and using financial services on BIDV iBank will be exempted from all fees on BIDV iBank such as account opening fee, account management fee, fee of domestic remittance on BIDV iBank, corporate debit card issuance fee; enjoy a 30% discount on fees for overseas remittance and trade finance on BIDV iBank compared to the current fee schedule.

Prioritize to grant credit extension with preferential credit packages

In addition to incentives on services, BIDV always prioritize to grant IMEX enterprises credit extensions with preferential credit packages and flexible credit requirements. BIDV has implemented many trade finance products with flexible requirements on collateral such as no collateral, mortgage of receivables arising from the export contracts/import shipments, etc. to timely meet the Client’s demand. In particular, services on international payment and trade finance are digitalized and easily accessed on BIDV iBank, which helps IMEX enterprises to make payments, international and domestic transactions conveniently, securely and confidentially.

The Trade Booming program has been launched since 2022 and received positive feedbacks for supporting IMEX enterprises to reduce financial costs as well as facilitate international cooperation. Since then, the Program has attracted more than 4,000 new IMEX Clients.
