Our new state-of-the-art Core Banking system offers numerous advanced features to enhance your banking experience. As part of this upgrade, we have implemented an automatic account number conversion, as follows:

1. Loan account numbers and the fixed-term saving account numbers, applicable for both online and counter deposits, will be shortened from 14 digits to 12 digits.
2. Checking account numbers, including over accounts, will be shortened from 14 digits to 10 digits.

For example: 1241000xxxxxxx will be shortened to 124xxxxxxx.

Please note that this change does not affect the rights and obligations between BIDV and our valued customers as previously agreed. You can easily check and verify your new account number on BIDV SmartBanking (for individual customers), BIDV iBank (for corporate customers), or by contacting our 24/7 Hotline at 19009247. Our dedicated teams at BIDV branches nationwide are also available to assist you.

During the transition period, BIDV will ensure the smooth processing of transactions on both the new and old account numbers. However, for your long-term convenience, we strongly recommend updating your account information and transitioning to the new account number as soon as possible.
