On 8 October 2023 in Hanoi, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor honored 33 collectives, 46 authors and groups of authors with outstanding initiatives of the program "One Million Initiatives - efforts to overcome difficulties, be creative to win the Covid-19 pandemic".

Mr. Pham Minh Chinh - Politburo member, Prime Minister, Chairman of the Central Emulation and Commendation Council attended and delivered remarks.

The program "One Million Initiatives - efforts to overcome difficulties, be creative to win the Covid-19 pandemic" was launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor at the end of 2021. According to Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang, president of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, as of 31 August 2023, there had been 2,409,104 initiatives submitted, of which 2,033,669 were approved. According to statistics, the total beneficial values of the initiatives are estimated at more than VND33 trillion. The program was well received by workers and employees.

At the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang - president of the Vietnam General Confederation awarded 9 authors, groups of authors with special excellent initiatives with beneficial values of VND100 billion and more, of which3 groups of authors are from BIDV Trade Union under Vietnam Banking Trade Union.
