This is the 5th time the “Warm Tet for the Poor” Run Race has been organized in a joint effort among BIDV’s employees, customers and community to carry out meaningful social security activities and offer New Year gifts to poor people across the country. “Warm Tet for the Poor - Spring 2024” Run Race will be organized by the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) for 22 days from 12 November to 2 December 2023.

The Run Race is held online on BIDVRUN application or website https://run.bidv/com.vn with many attractive prizes and sports gifts for high-ranking teams based on the Program’s rules. All miles achieved by runners will be converted into cash (from VND 1,000 to 3,000/km) sponsored by BIDV to offer gifts to the poor on the New Year of Dragon - 2024.

The Run Race is a great opportunity for runners to not only improve their physical health but also make meaningful contributions to the community, sharing with disadvantaged people through their steps. From today, runners can register to participate in the Race on BIDVRUN application/website and don’t forget to encourage your family and friends to participate in for giving more New Year gifts, bringing a warm Tet to needy families across the country.

"Warm Tet for the Poor” Run Race (held in November every year, in response to the Month for the Poor) and “BIDVRUN-For a Green Life” Run Race (held in April on BIDV’s anniversary) are two annual online charity run races organized by BIDV. After 5 years of implementation, BIDV’s run races have received great attention and support of participants, the number of runners have gradually increased year after year. To date, the run races have recorded 269,585 runners, 15.8 million km, equivalent to VND 59.8 billion contributed to social security programs. Accordingly, BIDV has offered nearly 300,000 Tet gifts to poor people to celebrate a warm Tet through “Warm Tet for the Poor” run races.
