On 25 February 2019 in Hanoi, BIDV and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital signed a cooperation agreement for the 2019-2024 period.

Under the deal, BIDV and the hospital will cooperate to play to their strengths and enhance operational efficiency of each party. BIDV will provide financial and banking products and services to the hospital while the latter will support the bank’s employees and customers in medical examination and treatment. The two parties will also join together for branding and community activities.

During the ceremony, BIDV donated 3 sets of high-quality ultrasound machines worth VND5 billion to the hospital, aiming to boost medical examination, treatment and public healthcare. To date, BIDV has funded the hospital a total of VND11 billion.

BIDV and the hospital have established a special traditional relationship and inked the first cooperation in 2004. Over the past 15 years, BIDV has provided many quality banking products and services to the hospital’s staff as well as patients
