From 11 May 2021, customers could use Ria Money Transfer to receive money from abroad at 30 branches of BIDV (list attached below) and soon at all branches of the bank. Ria Money Transfer is one of the global leading international money transfer company established in 1987 with a wide network of over 475,000 transaction points at 159 countries and territories. To receive money via Ria Money Transfer, please follow the instruction below:

+ Step 1: Sender visit Ria’s transaction point and make a transfer request, then receive a 11-digit PIN code and inform to the receiver in Vietnam.

+ Step 2: Receiver in Vietnam visit the nearest transaction point of BIDV, show valid identity documents, then fill out the form including the 11-digit PIN code to receive money at no charge.

Valid identity documents are:

- For foreigners: Valid passports, entry visas (or papers for entry visa exemption) or other documents determining the permitted period to reside in Vietnam issued a competent Vietnamese agency.

- For Vietnamese: Valid Vietnamese-issued ID card/Citizen ID card or valid Vietnamese-issued Passport
