Pursuant to Circular No. 17/2024/TT-NHNN issued by the State Bank of Vietnam on the opening and use of payment accounts at payment service providers, from July 1, 2025, corporate customers will only be permitted to withdraw funds and conduct electronic payment transactions on their payment accounts after the legal representative's identity documents and biometric information have been successfully verified.

Accordingly, from the above date, financial transactions on both the BIDV iBank online banking platform and the BIDV iConnect service (integrated with customers' ERP systems) will be suspended if the biometric update of the legal representative has not been completed.

To ensure uninterrupted services, corporate customers are kindly requested to update their legal representative's biometric information via the SmartBanking application (for representatives who are users of the app) or at the nearest BIDV branch or transaction office.
