The key for SMEs to conquer customers

With the topic “Conquering customers with the art of storytelling”, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) has coordinated with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to organize the training program to enhance capacity for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through equipping with skills and key ways to build their branding and sales effectively.

As of 10 May 2024 in Ho Chi Minh city, the training program was held with the training contents delivered by the local leading training expert from MVV Education Joint Stock Company (MVV). This program is under the framework of the ADB-funded Project on Mainstreaming Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise which has been implemented by BIDV with its main objectives to enhance efficiency in serving SMEs, including WSMEs.

In such this course, the training expert shared how to apply the power of storytelling into development of branding and sales of businesses. The trainees were accordingly guided on how to share and develop their own stories as in the storyboard, storytelling steps, and "sticky" factors, creating attraction from storytelling. Especially, the key ways of storytelling to help staffs of SMEs to conquer customers through sharing and spreading their own stories on their own business, products and services and sales skills to reach customers. One of the most interesting contents is the practical training part to help SMEs to conquer customers through the power of storytelling under guidance of the training expert.

Also in the training program, the representative of BIDV's Corporate Banking Department provided lots of useful information about banking products, services and solutions to actively support businesses in the process of business development, branding and sales.
