Understanding customers’ demand in reducing operating costs, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) offers comprehensive financial solutions with many special incentives in bidding for hospitals medical facilities and educational institutions.

From June 2024, when using full BIDV guarantee package in bidding for hospitals, medical facilities and educational institutions, customers will benefit these following incentives: Refund 100% bid bond fee; preferential interest rates (reduced by up to 2%).

BIDV accepts various types of collateral, including receivables from hospitals. Especially, pharmaceutical businesses will benefit from a reduction of up to 50% collateral requirement when issuing bid guarantees in favor of medical facilities.

In addition to financing working capital to promptly meet business needs, BIDV also offers preferential fees for all banking products and services on BIDV iBank, such as (i) up to 30% reduction in trade finance fees, international remittances, domestic money transfer fees on BIDV iBank, (ii) preferential exchange rates up to 170 points, and (iii) free inward international remittances .

These are attractive incentives to support businesses in promoting trade finance activities and encourage businesses to use BIDV's digital banking channel.

For new customers, the program will have additional incentives such as receiving a free Lucky Number Account; being exempt from account management fees for the first 12 months from the account opening date; enjoying a waiver of the annual fee for corporate cards and cashback of up to 45% on spending. At the same time, for POS and E-merchant services, BIDV offers cashback of up to VND 10 million per entity per month.

Supporting businesses operating in the healthcare and education sectors is one of BIDV's top priorities. Previously, the bank had launched a preferential credit package for pharmaceutical businesses with interest rates reduced by up to 2%. This initiative aims to timely provide working capital to support business operation, expand the scale, and increase market share of these businesses.

With this new comprehensive preferential package, BIDV hopes to help businesses be proactive when implementing bidding packages with healthcare facilities and educational institutions, quickly provide essential pharmaceuticals, medical supplies and equipment, and educational equipment to the public.
