BIDV donates 150 computers to Laos central bank

On 20/10/2011, in Vientiane capital, in the witness of the Leadership of Laos Central Bank, the leadership representatives of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) and the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) officially handed over the lot of computers including 150 computers to offer Laos Central Bank (100 units) and Laos Academy of Banking (50 units).

 

This is one of the practical and effective support activities of SBV and BIDV to create the best conditions for Laos Central Bank and Laos Academy of Banking in training, teaching the staff, students, thereby contribute to consolidating the good relationship between the two banking sectors of two countries, as well as the traditional relationship in specially friendly cooperation between Vietnam – Laos.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Chairman of BIDV Board of Directors Mr. Tran Bac Ha affirmed that BIDV shall make more efforts to support the training programs of the friendly banking sector as well as the social security activities in Laos.
