BIDV supports the people in the flooded areas of Cambodia with the necessities and 150 tons of rice

It was heard that Cambodia is suffering from heavy consequences caused by the flood lasting for over 2 months on a large scale, continuously and more and more worse. To timely provide social security relief for the friendly country, help the people to quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters, the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) and the Bank for Investment and Development of Cambodia (BIDC) gave the social security support to the friendly country with 100 tons of rice, 40 ton of salt, 5,000 sets of clothes, 60,000 notebooks and 60,000 pens.

The first shipment of BIDV with the support of Vietnam Airlines was transported to Cambodia. Starting from 21/10/2011, the Leadership representative of BIDV directly offered the objects in kind in the provinces suffering from the most severe influence caused by the flood including Kompong Cham, Kompong Thom, Prey Veng, Sway Rieng.

Earlier on 15/9/2011, immediately after the flood just happened, BIDV supported the people suffering from natural disaster in Siem Riep province with 50 tons of rice and 5,000 liters of petrol.
