VALC to take successful delivery of the fourth A321-200

On October 30, 2012, in Airbus’s manufacturing site, Hamburg, Republic of Germany, Vietnam Aircraft Leasing Company (VALC) has successfully received and lease back to Vietnam Airlines Company Limited the fourth A321-200 aircraft with MSN 5340

The aircraft’s Airworthiness Certificate has been issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam (CAAV) with the Vietnamese Registration Number VN-A393. The new aircraft will expand Vietnam Airlines’ middle haul operations and be used to better serve Vietnam’s rapidly growing demand of air transport.This aircraft was the fourth in total ten aircraft ECA transaction which was guaranteed by Euler Hermes. Since August 2012, VALC has successfully taken delivery and lease back 04 A321-200s. These delivered aircraft will see VALC’s growth development, with a total of six remaining A321 deliveries each month from November 2012 to April 2013, with the aim of becoming an aircraft leasing company with prestige and brand name in the regional and international aviation market.
