On 19/07/2011, BIDV Securities Joint Stock Company (BSC) listed 86.5 million shares coded BSI on Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HOSE), reference price of 10,300 VND/share. Even in the first trading session, BSI shares increased slightly 600 VND (equivalent to an increase of 5.8%) to 10,900 VND/share with 22,240 successfully transferred shares.

 

 

BSC has a charter capital of VND 865 billion and plans to increase its charter capital to VND 1,200 billion in quarter 4/2011, in which the rate sold to strategic shareholders is from 10-15% of charter capital. BSC's goal is to create sustainable funding for the expansions of business scale of the company.

The company determined that the securities brokerage activities will be key and develop the service segment. BSC also sets a target in the top 10 securities brokerage firms with the largest market share in the market in the three coming years. The main activity segments focused by BSC include: investment consultancy, issuance underwriting, corporate finance consultancy and business dealing.

According to the report, ending the fiscal year 2010, BSC reached VND 423 billion in revenue and VND 11.43 billion in profit after tax. According to the business development plan adjusted in 2011, BSC expected that the profit after tax reaches VND 9.5 billion. In November 2010, BSC also implemented IPO through auction of more than 10 million shares to the public, the average auction price of shares is 10,317 VND/share.
