On 30/10/2011, the Player Departure Ceremony of Vietnam Sports Delegation (Vietnam Sports) attending SEA Games 26 was held at Hanoi Opera House. In order to encourage the spirit, supplement the ardor for the national selected players before the day of departure, the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) continues to accompany SEA Games 26 and becomes the main sponsor for the 3rd year consecutively in the Player Departure Ceremony of Vietnam national sports delegation.

At SEA Games 26; 602 Vietnamese athletes shall participate and compete in 36 sports. Vietnam Sports Delegation takes departure in a large formation and sets target to win 70 gold medals or more in order to conquer the position of top 3 and beyond is toward to Olympic London 2012.

The Player Departure Ceremony before each SEA Games has become a good tradition, a rite of spiritual and deep significance in order to encourage the spirit, will and strength of Vietnam Sports Delegation on the way to control new pinnacles, praise the glory of our country’s Sports in the regional arena.
