27 Sep 2012 in Hongkong, Joint Stock Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) was granted 02 prizes by Asiamoney in the Cash Management Poll 2012 organized by this pretigous magazine. That are “Best overall domestic cash management services for small enterprises” and “Best overall cross-border cash management services for small enterprises”

 

 

Being the winner of 02 prizes in the annual polls organized by Asiamoney has reassured BIDV’s position as a leading commercial bank in Vietnam providing best services and solutions for corporate customers, esspecially for small and medium sized enterprises.

Before, BIDV won the prizes of “Best Foreign Exchange Bank” in Vietnam by Asiamoney for 3 continuous years of 2007, 2008, 2009. In February 2012, it also gained the prize of “Best Local Trade Finance Bank 2012” granted by Euromoney.

Asiamoney is a popular monthly magazine specialising in reporting banking and financial markets in Asia Pacific. It belongs to Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC (also the owner of Euromoney Magazine). Founded in 1989 and having headquarters in Hongkong, Asiamoney has earned the reputation of a leading financial information channel in Asia Pacific.

 “Asiamoney Cash Mangament Poll 2012” surveyed opinion and evaluation of thoudsands of enterprises and financial institutions using cash management services though the magazine’s website from 23 April to 18 May, 2012. Voting criteria includes (i) knowledge in business strategy, objectives and requirements before proposing cash management solutions to businesses, (ii) professionalism in service providing organization, focusing in serving customers under international standards, (iii) abilities of admanistration and risk control, (iv) competitive prices while ensuring fair profit growth, (v) transaction network and agent banking relationship, (iv) customized solutions and creative ideas for customers, and others.

         Asiamoney granted prizes for banks in both sectors of cash management for corporates and financial institutions basing on the result of the poll. Most votes from Vietnam were for 8 banks. The result showed that BIDV was highly appreciated for its ability to satisfy customers’s requirement and its efforts in applying technology in providing cash management services.
