On 17 August 2023, Forbes Vietnam honored the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) as one of 50 best listed companies in Vietnam in 2023. This is the third time in a row BIDV has made the list.

BIDV has always been a pioneer in digital transformation, improving the quality of products and services, and optimizing customer experience with modern banking products. Recently, BIDV has been one of the first 8 banks to deploy VietQRCash service to help customers withdraw money through ATMs with VietQR code without needing a physical card. BIDV also cooperates with Dragon Capital to provide investment trust products for super rich customers.

Besides, BIDV is also the leading bank in the green credit market with a market share of 13 percent of the total outstanding loans to the green sector in the economy.

In the first half of 2023, BIDV's total assets reached more than VND2 quadrillion (USD85 billion), capital mobilization reached over VND1.65 quadrillion (USD70 billion), outstanding loans reached over VND1.6 quadrillion (USD68 billion).

With these impressive results, BIDV has been recognized by many domestic and international organizations with prestigious awards such as: Top 10 most valuable brands in Vietnam in 2023 (brand value of USD1.4 billion by Brand Finance) and the brand with the fastest growth in value in Vietnam (up 69 percent); Top 10 strongest brands in Vietnam in 2023 with brand strength improving from AA+ to AAA-. BIDV has been in the Forbes Global 2000 list for the 9th time in a row, up 524 spots from 2022. BIDV has also been honored with the “Best Custodian Bank in Vietnam in 2023” award as voted by The Asian Banker.

The “Top 50 best listed companies in Vietnam” is an annual award hosted by Forbes Vietnam to honor the best enterprises of the economy in the year, which not only lead in their fields but also establish a competitive position in the market, making significant contributions to the economic and social development of the country, the business community and customers.

Also within the framework of the program, Forbes Vietnam held the 2023 Business Forum with the theme "Innovation of growth model" with the participation of domestic and international experts and senior leaders of leading enterprises, discussing technology trends, new business models and practical experiences from the market in the context of a volatile business environment.
