BIDV and KBIZ-VN sign MOU on comprehensive cooperation

The agreement opens up potential cooperation opportunities between Vietnam’s leading commercial bank with more than 2000 members of Korea Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises – Vietnam Office (KBIZ-VN).

Under the MOU signed on 17 September in Hanoi, BIDV will facilitate KBIZ-VN to attend events, seminars organized by BIDV, thereby enhancing the opportunity to attract Korea enterprises to perform investment and trading activities in Vietnam. The Vietnamese lender will also introduce its products and services to KBIZ-VN, thereby promoting Korea enterprises being members or partners of KBIZ-VN and planning to perform investment and business activities in Vietnam. BIDB provides legal advisory services, M&A and matching services with the good enterprises, industrial zones, export processing zones in Vietnam to members and partners of KBIZ-VN, cooperates with KBIZ-VN in creating tailor made banking products and services for current and potential Korea enterprises in Vietnam;…

For KBIZ-VN, it will facilitate BIDV to attend events, seminar organized by KBIZ-VN, introduce and consult current and potential Korea enterprises in Vietnam, members and partners of KBIZ-VN to use products, services provided by BIDV. KBIZ-VN also cooperates with BIDV to create mixed-service packages (business support services in the before-investment and after-investment, bank guarantee/financing….) exclusive for Korea enterprises in Vietnam. The Korean partner will provide monthly information related to existing and new members, activities of KBIZ-VN and other current and potential Korea investors to BIDV.

The Korea Federation of SMEs (KBIZ) has 3.55 million SME members around the world. Its office in Vietnam has been joining to connect more than 2000 members out of 8000 Korean enterprises doing business in Vietnam. Through this cooperation, BIDV and KBIZ – VN expect to contribute to promoting the trade and investment relations between Vietnam and Korea, thereby contributing to the socio-economic development of the two countries.
