Giving Tet gifts to the poor is an meaningful annual activity, which has been carried out by BIDV since 2009. 40,000 sets of gifts totalling VND20 billion (USD850,000) will be given to poor people, those affected by natural disasters and the Covid-19 pandemic across the country before Vietnamese New Year 2023. BIDV Quang Binh presented 100 new year gifts to the poor in Bac Ly ward, Dong Hoi city, Quang Binh province. Mr. Tran Xuan Hoang - Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Trade Union of BIDV on behalf of BIDV leaders gave gifts to households, an effort to contribute for people to celebrate the Lunar New Year more warmly.

BIDV Ninh Binh coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province to present 85 gifts to needy households in the province on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2023.

BIDV Tam Diep presented 470 gifts for the Lunar New Year to needy people in the province.

BIDV Son Tay gave the poor people in Phuc Tho district 100 Tet gifts for the poor in Phuc Tho district.

BIDV An Giang supported 20 gifts, accompanies the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union in An Giang province to bring a warm Tet to former volunteers with difficult circumstances.

BIDV Hung Yen supported 30 Tet gifts, accompanies the Women's Union of Tien Lu District, the Provincial Women's Business Association to bring a warm Tet to members of the Association of Women and Children with difficult circumstances in Tien Lu District and donated 10 gifts for needy households in Trung Nghia commune, Hung Yen city.

BIDV Southwest Quang Ninh gave 70 gifts to policy beneficiaries in 3 wards: Quang Trung, Nam Khe and Yen Thanh on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2023.

The delegation of New Energy Magazine/Petrotimes and BIDV Phu Dien coordinated with the People's Committee of Tho Son commune, Anh Son district, Nghe An province to implement the program "Gifts for the Lunar New Year 2023", giving 200 gifts for poor households, especially disadvantaged households in the area.

With the companionship of BIDV, Saigon Economic Review in collaboration with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Ward 2, Tan Binh District (HCMC) presented 100 Tet gifts to 100 poor households living in Ward 2, Tan Binh district.

Dai Doan Ket Newspaper cooperated with BIDV Dai La to organize a program to giving gift for the Lunar New Year 2023 in Dong Xuan commune (Soc Son district, Hanoi), gave 100 gifts to revolutionary veteran cadres, families with meritorious services to the revolution, poor, near-poor households, and disadvantaged households in Dong Xuan commune.

The journey to bring a warm Tet to people in difficult circumstances is still being carried out by BIDV in localities across the country. BIDV's warm Tet gifts will reach the poor before Vietnamese New Year.
