On 15 April 2025, in Quy Nhon city, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Viet Nam (BIDV) - Binh Dinh Branch and Binh Dinh Young Entrepreneurs Association officially signed a Cooperation Agreement, This milestone reflects BIDV’s ongoing commitment to supporting the local start-up ecosystem, promoting innovation, and driving sustainable development among young businesses in the province.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Vu Hong Quan, Chairman of the Association, along with representatives from member enterprises, local authorities, departments, agencies, and the media.

The partnership between BIDV Binh Dinh and Binh Dinh Young Entrepreneurs Association was initially established in 2009 and has been steadily strengthened over the years. This latest agreement further concretize the Cooperation Agreement signed on 16 October 2024 ,between BIDV and Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association (VYEA), bringing national-level commitments into local action.

Under the new agreement, BIDV Binh Dinh will implement various initiatives aimed at improving access to finance and enhancing the competitiveness of member businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), women-led businesses, and those innovation and high-tech sectors.

The cooperation focuses on three key pillars:

Firstly, Flexible and Preferential Financial Solutions. BIDV Binh Dinh will offer priority access to flexible credit programs with preferential interest rates. In addition, member businesses will benefit from modern digital banking services, cashless payment solutions, and personalized financial consulting designed to meet their unique business needs.

Secondly, Training and Capacity Development. BIDV will collaborate with the Association to organize training programs and expert-led seminars covering topics such as financial management, corporate governance, capital access, and technology adoption. These initiatives aim to enhance the operational capacity of young entrepreneurs.

Thirdly: Networking and Trade Promotion. Through business networking forums, trade promotion events, and business matching programs, member enterprises will have opportunities to connect with strategic partners and explore market expansion both within the province and beyond.

At the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Quynh, Director of BIDV Binh Dinh, shared:

Our portfolio also includes enterprises in high-tech and innovation-driven sectors. Supporting young entrepreneurs is a vital part of our long-term  sustainable development strategy.”

Also speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Vu Hong Quan, Chairman of Binh Dinh Young Entrepreneurs Association, emphasized:

This cooperation agreement not only addresses the current needs of young enterprises but also looks ahead with a strategic vision: to nurture a generation of dynamic, confident, and tech-savvy entrepreneurs who will contribute to Binh Dinh’s ambition of becoming a leading economic and innovation center in the Central Region.

In the time ahead, BIDV Binh Dinh and the Association will continue to implement practical activities, including industry-specific seminars, young entrepreneur forums, CEO training programs, and investment and trade connections with other provinces and international markets.

The signing ceremony on 15 April 2025 marks a new chapter in this partnership, creating valuable opportunities and concrete support mechanisms for young businesses in Binh Dinh. More than a conventional collaboration, it is a shared journey grounded in sustainable values, innovation, and a strong vision for the future of the province’s entrepreneurial landscape.
