On 29/07/2014, following the movement of raising the rating of the Vietnamese Government, the Global Credit Rating Organization Moody’s announced the credit rating result for BIDV. Accordingly, the deposit credit rating and issuer rating of BIDV is raised to 1 degree. The other rating indices are kept unchanged.

Moody’s judges that the macro-economy, payment balance and international payment position of Vietnam as well as the liquidity of the banking system has been improved and reduced the line risk in the banking system. Therefore, the support capacity of the Vietnamese Government for BIDV – Bank with high importance in the banking system - has been also improved.
