On 24th Apr, 2011, at Hoa Binh palace, Phnompenh, Kingdom of Cambodia, the investment promotion conference Vietnam-Cambodia the second times was held under the chairmanship of the Prime Ministers of two countries

The Conference was participated with the presence ofrepresentatives of relevant ministries and 165 companies including 94 companies from Vietnam. At the conference, seven cooperation agreements, MoU was signed between the ministries of the two countries with a total value of nearly 1 billion dollars; 3 projects have achieved Vietnam Ministries license; four projects have received commitments of BIDV, BIDC and Vietnamese banks to supply capital with the total amount equivalent to $ 230 millions, five social security supporting agreements were signed between BIDV and the presence of BIDV in Cambodia  with a total value of $ 1 million. Ceremony for assigning 800 TV to Cambodian government for supporting Cambodians of difficulty also took place in the conference.

The conference also witted the admission of new 11 members increasing the number of AVIC members to 74
