    • BIDV issues a written or authenticated commitment to a third party designated by the enterprise (guarantor), to perform financial obligations on behalf of the Guaranteed Party when the Guaranteed Party fails to perform or incompletely perform the obligations committed to the Guaranteed Party. The guarantee commitment can be issued in the form of a letter of guarantee or a standby letter of credit (Standby L/C) at the customer's request.
