ActionsBy merging the two current channels namely Internet Banking (BIDV Online) and Mobile Banking (BIDV SmartBanking), BIDV’s SmartBanking digital banking service offers seamless and totally new experience to customers in terms of: interface, log-in, limit, feature, utilities on different devices (PC, laptop, smartphone, tablet, etc.)
In particular, SmartBanking is the first and only digital banking service in Vietnam’s market that is integrated on smart watches (Apple Watch) and smart keyboards (allowing transactions to be conducted right on the interface of messaging apps such as Zalo, Viber, Messenger, iMessage,…)
Customers may use SmartBanking on two channels:
For avoidance of service interruption, BIDV Online/BIDV SmartBanking users are requested to covert to the new service as follows, from 20 March 2021:

For customers using BIDV SmartBanking only

1. Update to the latest version of SmartBanking. DO NOT delete/reinstall the app to avoid the loss of Face ID/Touch ID setup 2. Log in BIDV SmartBanking with your current passwords/Face ID/Touch ID (Username is the very mobile phone number currently registered for BIDV SmartBanking). 3. Convert to the new SmartBanking following the on-screen instructions. 4. Once you have completed the conversion, you may use SmartBanking service both on the app and the website. NOTE: For your convenience in converting and getting familiar with the new SmartBanking, BIDV will keep the old BIDV SmartBanking service until 23h59 on 13 April 2021. After this time, you are requested to update the app and convert to the new SmartBanking for service continuity. |
For customers using BIDV Online only

1. Access the SmartBanking service via website at the address https://smartbanking.bidv.com.vn/ 2. Log in with your current BIDV Online username and password 3. Convert to the new SmartBanking service following the on-screen instructions 4. Once you have completed the conversion, you may use SmartBanking service both on the app and the website. NOTE:

Please convert to the new service following the instructions as applicable to customers using BIDV SmartBanking only. Note: Customers whose BIDV SmartBanking is temporarily blocked do not need to visit the bank branch to reactivate the service but convert to the new service following the instructions as applicable to customers using BIDV Online only. |
Customers outside Vietnam need to use roaming service for the mobile phone number registered with the bank to convert to and use the new SmartBanking.
As a gift of appreciation for your companion and support, from 20 March to 30 April 2021, BIDV will waive 100% transaction fees on the new SmartBanking and offers up to VND50,000 to new users. BIDV also offers 100% waiver on service maintenance fee for all customers during this period.
Especially, from 20 March to 30 June 2021, all customers will have a chance in lucky draws to win 1 Hyundai Accent car and many other attractive gifts when conducting financial transactions worth VND500,000 or more on the new SmartBanking (not applicable to money transfers to same account holder).
