BIDV respectfully announces that from January 15, 2025, customers who use accounts at BIDV as transfer accounts, or transfer money to beneficiary accounts at BIDV, should only use accounts that have been shortened (3-8 and 10 digits long instead of 14 digits.

All transactions to 14-digits account at BIDV may be rejected by payment systems since the above time.

Your shortened account number is displayed on your account statement and documents printed from the BIDV’s Core Banking system.

Customers can also look up the shortened account number/QR code of the shortened account on the BIDV iBank/BIDV SmartBanking or contact through Hotline 1900 9247 (for individual customers), 1900 9248 (for corporate customers), or contact BIDV transaction offices nationwide.

For convenient and smooth transactions, please notify your shortened account number at BIDV to the parties involved in payment and money transfer transactions.

Changing the account number does not change the rights and obligations between the Bank and customer as previously agreed. BIDV commits to always make maximum efforts to meet the highest requirements for the quality of banking products and services of customers.
