In order to support the need to borrow cars for consumption or business purposes of all individual and household customers, from September 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017, First Joint Stock Bank Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) implemented the preferential package of VND1,000 billion to buy cars at the dealer system and Thaco's showroom with the interest rate of only 7.7% / year.

From 1 September to the end of this year BIDV is offering VND1 trillion (USD44.5 million) credit packages for customers purchasing THACO automobiles.

Customers making purchases at the THACO showroom are eligible for the loans. A preferential rate of 7.7 percent is offered which is fixed for the first 12 months, and the loan term can extend to 84 months. Customers can borrow up to 80 percent of the car’s value.

Truong Hai Auto Corporation (THACO) currently manufactures, trades, and distributes commercial vehicles including trucks and buses, passenger cars from brands including Kia (South Korea), Mazda (Japan), and Peugeot (France). As of mid-2016, the distribution system consisted of 93 showrooms and 59 dealers nationwide and the company currently has 16,000 employees.
