BIDV cuts lending interest rates for customers

Accordingly, from 27 May 2021, when participating in a loan, customers will enjoy a deeply reduced interest rate applied in flexible cases as follows:

- Only from 6.2% p.a in the first 6 months from the time of first disbursement for residential home loan customers who successfully register via BIDV Home app (lowest interest rate applicable to other areas). Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City).

- Only from 6.4% p.a in the first 6 months for borrowers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh.

- For other customer groups, the interest rate will be reduced from 6.6% p.a for the first 6 months or from 7.2% p.a for the first 12 months.

At the same time, customers who have a salary account at BIDV are entitled to an additional reduction of the maximum loan interest rate of 0.2% p.a compared to the normal loan interest rate in the first 1 year or the minimum interest rate of the package, only from 6.2%/year. This preferential interest rate applies to loan products for life needs without collateral or secured by real estate, loans for housing needs and loans to buy cars for consumption purposes. (excluding overdraft loans).

The program applies to newly disbursed loans with a minimum loan term of 36 months, helping customers actively balance financial resources with preferential capital. Compared to the beginning of 2021, medium and long-term interest rates have decreased by 0.6% p.a and by 1%/year compared to the same period in 2020. Individual customers borrow medium and long-term loans for production & business, real housing needs, car loans, consumer loans secured by real estate satisfying relevant conditions of BIDV are all eligible for preferential interest rates in this program.
